I am a New York transplant living in Monticello Minnesota. After almost a decade of providing technical support at a Verizon Wireless store I was downsized. I started as a Verizon Wireless employee in 2001 - mainly doing circuit board repairs, part replacements and automobile handsfree installations. I stuck around through the process of being outsourced to a 3rd party (Solectron) then the process of the company being bought out by Flextronics. More supervisors than I can name off...
On a personal note, I have been married to my wife for over 10 years. We have 2 kids, a boy and a girl. The girl (the oldest) loves to dance. She's the ultimate girly-girl. The boy (the youngest) is a tough guy, loves anything sports related. We are getting settled into the new area, and both looking for work. My wife has worked in the dental field as both an assistant and in the office.
We are definitely looking forward to warmer weather as it seems like we have been stuck inside for a longtime now. I would love to be able to go out for a walk or a bike ride. As for winter activities, we have done a little sledding and playing outside with the kids. We would love to look over craigslist and ebay for some cross country skis or some snow shoes to help us make it through the rest of the winter....
By the way, thanks for stopping by!
